Majumdar and statistician C. Radhakrishna Rao on the people of Bengal. The survey for this work was undertaken in 1945, and the work forms part of the Indian Statistical Series (No.3). With a foreword by P. C. Mahalanobis. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is very smart, though a little faded to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Dust wrapper is chipped to the head and tail of the spine, and to the fold of the front flap, with small closed tears and small losses to the upper extremities. Dust wrapper is bright, except for one mark to the front of the wrap. Very Good. book.
