He continues: 'Plate has changed its position since years ago you & I used to talk about it & when you bought the pretty candlestick with the plain columns was it at Torquay?' Although it is 'not so great as some of the arts - the skill of handicraft in Silver Plate & architecture seems to me fairly representative of the taste of early England.' He hopes that he will see the Terrells at the Yellow House 'some night'.
