Keeping with the current thematic grouping that I have been listing of books related to art & culture, I am pleased to offer another. This book is titled: The Bayeux Tapestry by Eric MacLagan. This small hard cover book (5 x 7 ¼ inches, 30 pages of text and 88 plates, 8 of them in color and the others in b&w) were published by Penguin Books, in this case the revised edition of 1953 with the revised color plates and as No. 10 in the King Penguin series. The book is bound in decorated paper-covered boards which are protected by a dust jacket with the same decorations. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some minor edge wear and a bit of darkening where handled along the margins. The hard covers are bright and clean with just some minor bumping at the top of the spine. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
