Dan (Gaubert) is a tough gang leader who dresses and fights like a man. She and two others, including Babar (Bras) are ostracized due to their behavior, and she falls in love with Lucky (Cafarelli) while Babar commits suicide. A late entry for film noir regular and poetic realist Carné, whose notable credits include "Port of Shadows" (1938), "The Devil's Envoys" (1942), and "Children of Paradise" (1945). Set in Paris.
