This volume deals with the species of Conidae (Mollusca: Gastropoda) of China seas based mainly on the collections of the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. A total of 128 species are recorded and described, of which, one species is new to science, the type specimen is deposited in the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao,Shandong Province, China. One species is recorded for the first time from chinese waters. New taxon: Conus nanshaensis n. sp. 286 pp. + 4 color plates, 168 b/w figs, hc gr. 8.
