Presumed first edition. 192pp., a colour frontispiece, 3 full-page black and white illustrations and a few illustrations within the text. Showell Styles (1908-2005) was a prolific British writer of crime novels, historical novels, thriller, guidebooks, mountaineering books, and numerous children's books. The present book is one of his stories of the Scouts of the Tiger Patrol.
