Molesworth, Helen J. Wood and others. Edited by C. J. L'Estrange, a British writer of mainly children's adventure fiction, who regularly published under the pseudonym of Herbert Strange or Mrs Herbert Strang.Wonderfully illustrated throughout with vignettes and plates in colour and monochrome. In the original quarter cloth with pictorial boards. Externally, smart, with rubbing to the extremities and marks to the boards. Internally, generally firmly bound, with three pages detached but present to the work. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the endpapers and occasional spots. Small closed tear and slight loss to lower corner of half-title page. Page-edge browning. A few marks to contents but generally a nice copy with all plates present. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched.
