From the publishing partnership between James Harrison and Samuel Brooke, the Novelist's Magazine was a popular series offering readers literary classics enjoy, spanning twenty-three volumes between 1780-1788. This particular volume is special compared to others for the works within them happening to be very scarce, with no insittutional copies of Lenox's satire other than that seen in this magazine. - The Female Quixote; or the Adventures of Arabela, by Mrs. Lenox, or Charlotte Lenox. Eight books, originally bound in two volumes. Contains all four plates, with plate III bound after plate IV.
