Disques Fontana 460.518 ME / Super 45 tours EP 1956. Couverture illustrée. Texte de Jack K. Netty, traduction de Boris Vian au 4ème plat. Pochette en assez bel état général avec petits frottis et tassements aux coins ainsi qu'une minuscule fente au dos. A noter un nom inscrit à l'intérieur de la pochette et des initiales au 4ème… plat. Disque avec petites traces et minuscule manque sur le bord, mais qui passe normalement après vérification sur ma platine. Ce disque,est considéré comme le premier disque de Rock Français, cnnçu par Boris Vian aux paroles sous le pseudonyne de Vernon Sinclair, Michel Legrand aux musiques sous le pseudonyne de Big Mike, sauf pour le titre Rock-Hoquet composé par Henri Salvador, qui est au chant sur tous les titres, sous le pseudonyne de Henry Cording. Enregistré le 21 juin 1956, il sort en juillet sous les pseudonymes d'Henry Cording pour le chanteur et de Jack K. Netty pour le texte. Un nouveau tirage est réalisé en septembre 56 sous une pochette quasi-identique puis en octobre avec une nouvelle pochette où apparaissent pour la première fois le nom de Henri Salvador, avec son portrait dessiné et celui de Boris Vian ( traduction Boris Vian ). Il contient quatre titres : Rock and Roll-Mops - Dis-moi que tu m'aimes - Rock / Rock- Hoquet - Va t'faire cuire un oeuf, man ! Notre exemplaire est celui du retirage datant d'octobre 1956. Rare.
