Bone & Son to the rear paste down. Henry Sambrooke Leigh (1837-1883) was an English writer and playwright, who wrote many poetry collections. This is one of his early poetry collections, which include the lyric poems: 'Shabby-Genteel', 'Lays of Many Lands', 'Songs of the Sick Room', 'The Twins', and many more. The first edition of this work is uncommon to find. Charmingly illustrated with in-text engravings throughout.Eight pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear.
