Laid in this copy are the following ephemera: an invitation card from Madison Gallery (Toronto) to the preview of a show entitled "There Were No Signs" that was a combination of 15 poems by Irving Layton and 15 etchings by Aligi Sassu which took place April 5, 1979 (show ran from April 6 to 24, 1979), and a single sheet letter (folded) advertising the show dated March 28, 1979. Some readers will enjoy the poems in this book. Others will wish they had remained uncollected. Preface by Seymour Mayne. 199 copies, of which this is no. 152 signed by the poet. …
