A lovely set of the first books that were a literary success by this author and became a great humorous classic in rather scarce first editions and one with nice inscriptions. From the library of Estelle Doheny (1875-1958) a noted bibliophile whose magnificent collection was sold by Christie's in 1988. 2 volumes. Hardcover.
