This volume demonstrates that they have also been actively engaged in the interpretation of CIL. In elucidating CIL interpretation before and by international courts and tribunals, the volume chooses three focal points: theory, method and normative interactions. Viewing CIL and its interpretation from these vantage points leads to a more complete picture of the role and function of CIL interpretation in international courts. Nach absolviertem Josefstädter Gymnasium sowie Semestern als Hörer der Philosophie war Costa 20 Jahre lang Beamter der Lottogefällsdirektion in Prag und von 1879 bis 1891 Redakteur der satirisch-politischen Zeitschrift "Komische Briefe des Hans-Jörgels von Gumpoldskirchen". Zwischen 1882 und 1885 leitete er das Theater in der Josefstadt. Das vorliegende Volksstück wurde am 1. August 1883 im Theater in der Josefstadt uraufgeführt.- Innenumschlag mit kleinem Bes.-Stempel. Der in Wien geborene Verfasser von zahlreichen Wiener Volksstücken, Possen und Parodien redigierte von 1879 bis 91 die Zeitschrift Hans Jörgel von Gumpoldskirchen" und war von 1882 bis 85 Direktor des Wiener Theaters in der Josefstadt. Leopold Jacobson war Journalist für die Deutsche Zeitung", wechselte dann zum Neuen Wiener Journal" und ging als dessen Korrespondent nach Berlin. Später als erster Redakteur der Berliner Morgenpost" tätig, kehrte er als Theaterkritiker des Neuen Wiener Journals" nach Wien zurück, wo er zum Chefredakteur des Blatts aufstieg. Sein Werk besteht aus Theaterstücken und Libretti wie etwa zu Oscar Straus' Nachtfalter". Ohne die erwähnte Notiz.

Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910) is a Russian writer. He is famous for his novels and short stories depicting the life of the Russian people in the time of the tsars, but also for his essays, in which he condemns the civil and ecclesiastical powers. The work includes a story whose protagonist is the Avar chief Hadji Murad (1790-1852), one of the opponents of the Russian conquest of the Caucasus. With the finesse of the characterization of the characters, the depth of the reflection on their psychology and the strength of a story based on both the author's own experience and a long documentary research, Hadji-Murad is one of the peaks of Tolstoy's work. A pleasant copy.
