Briefkorrespondenz meist gelocht. Der umfangreiche Briefwechsel mit Ferdinand Wessiak stammt hauptsächlich aus der Zeit 1942 - 1947 und ist insofern interessant, da es um die in Berlin lagernden Bilder geht, sowie die Alltagsprobleme die durch den Krieg verursacht wurden. Hans Kobinger 1892 - 1974 zählt zu den Künstlern Oberösterreichs rund um die Künstlergruppe 'März' zu der auch Vilma Eckl, Alfred Kubin, Klemens Brosch u. a. gehörten. Seine Arbeiten, ganz der Heimat verschrieben, erzielen durchaus beachtliche Preise auf dem internationalen Kunstmarkt. Ferdinand Wessiak lebte in der Kriegszeit in Berlin, später dann in Großgmain bei Salzburg. Er war der Vertraute von Johannes Ude, der im Widerstand zu NS-Regime stand und im KZ gefoltert wurde, zuletzt rettete ihn der Einmarsch der Alliierten. Der Briefwechsel gibt ein anschauliches Bild auch des geistigen Widerstandes und der Freundschaft.
