Along with his bona fides as "a practicioner of the art [and] as a teacher and lecturer," he is also credited with having invented "a fascinating device called the 'Triangle Square,' which divides any distance into any number of equal lengths," and to prove that there was apparently no end to this guy's talents, he "must also be credited with the drawing of all the illustrations in this and his other Fairchild books."
