Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with loss at the top on the spine and 1.5 inch down the front spine edge. Cursive practice writing on the blank endpages. Deals with a wide variety of fertilizers from manures, animal products to woolen rags. The author was Professor of Materia Medica and Therapeutics in the Penn Medical University of Philadelphia.
