Quarto 10½'' x 7''. 7 [of 8] volumes with volume VII missing. This is the edition De Luxe limited to 500 copies of which this set is not numbered. Each volume has a double page colour frontispiece of an H. A. Ogden scene from the civil war. They are all illustrated with both paper guarded black & white drawings, maps, glossy plates and occasional full colour plates. The whole set is in Fine condition having probably never been opened or appreciated.
