The original bright green dustwrapper is present but with front flap almost detached and part of spine panel missing. Other chips and tears evident but still quite presentable. One small newspaper cutting featuring another Rhys poem affixed to rear blank. This book was dedicated to the renowned Welsh poet, Lynnette Roberts who was the poet's wife at the time of the book's publication.

"An eclectic magazine with international range, regarded as one of the best of the period" (Miller & Price A173). The literary journal Wales was edited by William Jones under the name Keidrych Rhys and was an important contributor to the growth of Welsh poetry and writing from the 1930s onwards. This was the 21st edition rather than the 21st birthday (the first edition was in 1937, 8 years previously) and has poems by Robert Graves among much else.
