Paperback. Zustand: New. Language: English. Realizing the importance of intangible cultural heritages of India and their documentation, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya has undertaken the task of preparing selective bibliographies on various aspects of intangible cultural heritages to facilitate scholars and researcher…s in their pursuit of knowledge. It is proposed to be a multivolume exercise due to enormous literature available on the subject. Volume II incorporates ethnomedical practices in India. Subsequent volumes on other aspects of intangible cultural heritage of India would follow these volumes soon. There was a time in the past, when it was possible to a scholar to keep himself up to date and well informed on current literature in his field of interest. But due to the increase in the amount of literature available, it has become more and more difficult for him to do so.
