Vintage black-and-white still photograph of a bathing June Ritchie and John Gregson from the 1962 UK film. Mimeograph snipe affixed to the verso. Before Michael Caine as "Alfie" (1966), there was Ian Hendry as the cheeky womanizer named Albert, whose ex-lover (June Ritchie) comes to visit with their out-of-wedlock child. For a brief period the two reunite, and Albert puts a halt to his philandering ways, until they fall out once more. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with pinholes and creases at the extremities.

Vintage reference photograph of director John Schlesinger dancing with actress June Ritchie on the set of the 1962 British film. With manuscript pencil annotations on the verso. Based on the 1960 novel. Along with "Billy Liar" (1963), Schlesinger's first feature film is perhaps the quintessential document of middle-class life in Northern England during the early 1960s. Alan Bates plays a young and somewhat ambitious factory worker who becomes carelessly involved with a young woman and gets her pregnant, resulting in suffocating consequences for both parties. Set and shot on location in Manchester. 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine.
