Benese-Trebízského, Vásclava [Václav Benes Trebízský (Trebíz February 27, 1849 - June 20, 1884 Marienbad) was a Czech writer and Catholic priest. He was the son of a tailor Vaclav Benes Trebíz at Salty and Marie, nee Sarochova. He studied in Slaném and Prague. In 1875 he was ordained a priest and worked first in Liten near Beroun, since 1876 Klecany in Prague. Despite repeated spa treatment in Marienbad he died of tuberculosis. The name Vaclav Benes Trebízského today carries high school in Slane]. [Czechoslovakia (Czech and Slovak: Ceskoslovensko, Cesko-Slovensko) was a sovereign state in Central Europe that existed from October 1918, when it declared its independence from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, until its peaceful dissolution into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on 1 January 1993].
