In overall very good used condition with some minor signs of age, handling and storage - leather slightly chipped to spine head with scuffing to corners and chips to front leading edge, and front spine fold a little cracked to leather at spine head. Binding tight and appears almost unread. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; marbled page-ends slightly darkened but text (French), marbled endpapers and occasional illustrations in the text bright and clear throughout. Retains the original green silk page-marker. Includes descriptions of Monaco, Genes, Pavie, Milan, Bresse, Verone, Padoue, Venise, Ferrare, Ravenne, Rimini, Republique de Saint Marin, Rome, Naples, Capri, Sienne, Livourne, Pise, Florence, Bologna, Modena, Parme, Turin, with chapters on the villages of Switzerland: Genà ve, Fribourg, Berne, Soleure, Zurich, Tirol, Inspruck, Hall etc., and an index.
