Zustand: Acceptable. 1883 nelson edition on decortaive boards with 20 illustrations and introduction and notes by robert mackenzie with facsimiles of the orgional map etc of the work and 12 illustrations. The back board is warped and staned hence the acceptable connotation but inner contect very good.

Cloth. Zustand: Good +. No Jacket. Sargent (illustrator). Purple/brown illustrated cloth in pretty good condition for age. Corners are bumped and spine ends are frayed. Spine is age-discoloured. Binding is tight. 316pp with catalogue at rear. Frontis and title page are facsimiles of the 1735 edition. With facsimiles of the original maps, etc and twelve illustrations by Sargent. Previous owner's name on front e/p and occasional markings throughout text. Foxing of page edges and a scattering elsewhere. A very nice copy with beautiful illustrations.
