Por su parte, la finalidad de la educación infantil, según la legislación v…igente, es contribuir al desarrollo físico, intelectual, afectivo, y social de los niños (LOE, 2006, artículo 13). Son numerosas las investigaciones que se pueden encontrar actualmente acerca de los beneficios de la educación musical, no solo para la adquirir objetivos musicales, sino también desde el punto de vista del desarrollo global del niño y sobre la importancia de que esta educación se inicie lo más pronto posible. La expresión musical puede colaborar en el desarrollo integral, puesto que la relación de los elementos de la música: ritmo, melodía y armonía, con los ámbitos de la personalidad: cognitivo, psicomotor y afectivo-social, la hacen idónea para potenciar capacidades en todos ellos. No cabe duda de que para llevar a cabo este trabajo es importante haber adquirido unos conocimientos y destrezas musicales básicos; no obstante, y dado que el objetivo en la edad infantil con relación a la expresión musical es ofrecer a los niños oportunidades para establecer contacto con la música y el mundo de los sonidos, lo más significativo no es cuánto se sabe de música, sino qué se sabe hacer con la música. Con estas premisas, y en el ánimo de que quien lo desee pueda realizar actividades musicales con niños para contribuir de forma efectiva y divertida a su desarrollo integral, en el libro se recogen propuestas didácticas sencillas y abiertas que permiten ser llevadas a la práctica, aunque no se posean grandes conocimientos musicales. The archaeological site was in use from c. 2500 BC to the Byzantine Period. It comprises many tombs, mostly of Old Kingdom to Middle Kingdom date, belonging to the highest and administrat…ive elite of Elephantine, 1st Upper Egyptian Nome. This area played an important role in the ancient state, even though it was far away from the royal court, due to the exceptional nature of its border territory, its proximity to Lower Nubia, and the expeditions and the trade with other neighboring lands. The Qubbet el Hawa Project, led by the University of Jaén and with the collaboration of the MoTA, conducted its first field season in summer 2008. Since then, research works have been carried out by a multidisciplinary team. This volume is the continuation of the previous one, Results of the 2019 Research Season at Qubbet el-Hawa.
