Orrick Johns (1887-1946) was one of the earliest free-verse poets in Greenwich village and part of the "Others" group who were contributors to that magazine. These included William Carlos Williams, Wallace Stevens, Marianne Moore, T.S. Eliot, Djuna Barnes, Marcel Duchamp and Amy Lowell. Johns is also associated with Vachel Lindsay. Constance Atwood subscribed to the first printing of Shakespeare & Co.'s Ulysses.
