The work discusses the conditions under which a lien can be exercised, the different types (e.g., general or particular liens), and the legal frameworks surrounding them. It also covers the law of stoppage in transitu which refers to the right of an unpaid seller to repossess goods while they are still in the possession of a carrier (in transit) if the buyer becomes insolvent.
