Volume seven completes coverage of the passerines (also known as the songbirds or perching birds) and provides detailed descriptions of 168 species, including the flycatchers, currawongs, riflebirds, ravens, bowerbirds, grass finches, swallows and white-eyes. The Volume also contains 54 colour plates by renowned bird artists which depict all extant species in fine detail.
