Hardback. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. Reprinted hardback, 1977, with no jacket. In overall good to very good condition with only minor signs of handling and storage. Pictorial laminated boards have faded a little and have a couple of minor marks. Binding tight, no annotations or inscriptions - small name and address stamp to ffep and reverse of ffep (Schools and Museum Service), text, illustrations, plates and lovely illustrated endpapers clean and clear throughout.

The dustwrapper is rubbed with discolouring to spine and folds, has some wear to the edges and corners, has a clear protective cover attached. The red boards are clean with some bumping to the both ends of spine, with bright lettering to the spine, good illustrations to inside covers. The binding is firm. The pages are clean and crease free with some bright illustrations throughout. This book has 272 pages. All in all a nice example of this book.
