Jöcher IV/1839. - Der Mediziner und Philosoph Johann Jacob Wecker (Basel 1528-1586 Kolmar) studierte an seinem Geburtsort Medizin, wurde jedoch 1557 Professor der Dialektik und betrieb daneben eine medizinische Praxis. 1566 wurde er Stadtarzt (Stadtphysikus) in Kolmar. Das vorliegende Werk ist in vielen Ausgaben erschienen, laut ADB auch noch 1750. (ADB 41 (1896), S. 372 [Online-Version]). - Kapital und die Hälfte des obersten Segments fehlen. Einband, Gelenke und Einbandinnendeckel mit Wurmgängen. Fliegender Vorsatz mit Randfehlstellen, altem Stempel u. Besitzvermerk. Hinterer fliegender Vorsatz mit Papierrest, der hint. Einbandinnendeckel mit Marginalien in Bleistift und Tinte. Papier stellenweise stockfleckig oder gebräunt. Gewicht (Gramm): 390.
