The slipcase is slightly stained. 49 pages bound in accordion-fold illustrated with 15 double-page color illustrations of Kitagawa Utamoro's Japanese paintings of birds, and textual illustrations. Near fine in a very good slipcase. Exhibition catalog for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's exhibition of Utamaro's paintings with an introduction by Julia Meech-Pekarik, Associate Curator of Fat-Eastern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and a Note on kyoka and translations by James T.
