At a scale of 1:600, the plan of Manama details principal buildings and places of interest, including the old and new palace, Juma Mosque, the Aramco office, schools, hospitals, cinemas, churches and cemeteries. The second plan, at a scale of 1 inch to 9,000 feet, shows the Bahrain islands complete with anchorages, piers, major towns and cities, roads and tracks, refineries, airfields, and water pumping stations.
