In 1948 he became chairman of the Graphics Department at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Jizchok Leib Perez (1852-1915) was a Polish novelist, poet, and playwright. He was a leader of Yiddishism, a cultural movement dedicated to making Yiddish the national language of Jewish people around the globe.
