From the dust jacket- "Christenberry's eye is drawn to the rural Southern landscape, to the worn, remote margins of towns with names like Moundville, Greensboro, and Havana Junction. He finds a special attraction in frayed, half-forgotten landscapes where man-made objects dissolve into banks of kudzu vines and untended fields, where houses of tenant families, churches, small independent shops, graves, and signs seem gently suspended on the edge of oblivion.".
