The first authorised English translation by A.A. Brill was published in 1913, helping to establish Freud's ideas throughout the English-speaking world. Early printings published before the substantially revised 1932 English edition are now fairly scarce. A good hardback in Publisher's original patterned blue cloth with gilt titles to cover and spine. The spine is sunned with faded titles and a tear to cloth at head of spine. Covers with light wear and bumping. Some offsetting to endpapers and light spotting to first and last few leaves. Light spotting to half title and edge of text block.
