Pretty coloured frontispiece, 30 poems interspersed with charming drawings by Lewis Baumer. Spine slightly faded and with small stain, corners rubbed but not fraying, a couple of tiny tooth marks…to lower cover at 1 corner, endpapers lightly browned, margins occasionally thumbed, occasional slight foxing. A good plus copy (lacking dustwrapper). Early Blyton inspired no doubt by the huge success of When We Were Very Young the year before.
