Cover: brown and cream, bargello pattern, paper covered boards, with gilt lettering to spine; very clean and bright; few if any signs of shelf wear; in remarkable condition for its age. Internally: clean and tightly bound; very small neat gift inscription, dated 1941 to front fly leaf; no other inscriptions or book plates; occasional underlining or margin markings throughout (previous owner was a printer himself and was gifted the book by the Head of Medway College of Printing); top edges decorated, slight darkening to other edges.
