Signed at foot, with seals in red wax, by 'Vi…n: Eyre' and 'Surrey', and by 'Geo: Townsend' and 'John Barnard'. Parker is enfranchised of the copyhold of 'all those several Customary or Copyhold Fields Closes or Parcels of Land situate lying and being at or near Brightholmley in the Chapelry of Bradfield within the said Manor of Sheffield collector known by the Names of the Upper Star Field, the Nether Star Field, the Upper Field and the Dole Wood containing together by Estimation Seven Acres or thereabouts and now in the Tenure or Occupation of Ada Hudson his Assigns or Undertenants being the Estate and Inheritance of the said Adam Hudson but in Mortgage to the said Kenyon Parker'.

Orford's message, on the one side, begins: 'Lord Orford presents his Compliments to Mrs Hudson, and desires the honour of his Company, in the Tour he proposes to make round the Tow…n of Lyn, [sic] on friday next to solicit the Freemens votes in favour of Mr Thomas Walpole.' In the second paragraph Orford asks Hudson 'to dine with him at the Dukes-head after the business of the day is over, if it should not be convenient for him to go round the Town'.
