Letterhead, Dated March 15, 1916, From Alice James ( The Widow Of William James) To Louise Corrin Walsh(1849-, Daughetr Of Alexander Robertson Walsh) In Stamford, Connecticutt, With Hand Addressed Stamped Envelope Sent That Same Day. The Letter Responds To Walsh's Letter Of Feb. 27, And Informs Walsh That Henry James Had Passed Away February 28, Following A "Slight Shock On Dec. 2, After Which He Had Wired Her, And A More Severe One Later That Evening"; She Sailed To England Dec. 4Th And Remained There, Peggy Following Two Weeks Later. He Recognized Them "To The End, And I Think It Was A Sort Of Comfort To Him To Have Us In And Out Of His Room, But The Mental Confusion Never Gave Over And We Were Grateful When He Slept, As He Did, A Great Dela.
