I am pleased to be able to offer a very nice copy of a lovely book, titled: Wings in the Sea The Humpback Whale, by Lois King Winn & Howard E. Winn, with illustrations by William C. King. This book is inscribed and signed by all three of them. This small hard cover book (9 ½ x 7 ¼ inches, 153 pages) was published for the University of Rhode Island by the University Press of New England, dated 1985 and a First Edition, with the same date on title and copyright pages. There is a photocopy of a 1988 article from the Narragansett Times about the Illustrator, William C. King. The book is well illustrated with b&w drawings by the Illustrator and photos. The book is bound in a grey weave cloth with gilt decorations and titles on cover and spine; it is protected by a glossy pictorial dust jacket. The book concludes with a very extensive bibliography and an index. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The dust jacket is unblemished, without edge wear or soiling and the hard covers too, are pristine. Inside, the only mark I found was the inscription on the title page; the interior pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Signed by Author.
