This issue also includes: an essay by Lewis Shelley on the avant-garde Black Mountain College (the first in a series); an essay by Joseph Albers entitles 'My courses at the Hochschule fur Gestaltung at Ulm', and an essay on 'Albers' 'Graphic Tectonics' by Irving Finkelstein'; 'What is Kinetism?' by Lev Nusberg - translated from his manifesto; 'Symmetry: Nature and the Plane' and 'A Non-Aristotelian Creative Reality' by Charles Biederman; poetry by Anselm Hollo, and a section on 'Great Little Magazines', with this particular issue focused on 'Mecano', which was edited by Theo von Doesburg.
