Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. 1st Edition. The Philosophy of Gemistos Plethon: Platonism in Late Byzantium, between Hellenism and Orthodoxy by Hladky, Vojtech, published in 2014. A major modern study of the thought of Gemistos Plethon (c. 1355 1452), the influential Byzantine scholar whose revival of Platonic philosophy helped shape late Byzantine intellectual life and profoundly influenced the Italian Renaissance.
