Leather_bound. First editions thus. A lot of 7 volumes. All are attractively bound in elaborately gilt decorated leather of various hues with all edges gilt. Each volume is signed by the author on preliminary leaf with a tissue guard. The 7 volumes are in very good + to near fine condition, with 4 showing some faint water spotting on the gilt at the top edge of the text block, and one (the Stegner) with a few pages slightly bumped and a tiny paint spot at the head of the spine, and one (the Catton) with a white paint stain at the top of the gilt edge and another (the Roth) with a faint tide mark at the top fore-corner of some early and late leaves. Very good+ to near fine condition.

Based on the 1932 novel by Dick Grace, about three World War I aviators who find jobs as Hollywood stunt flyers during the lean times after the war. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, lightly edgeworn and curled.
