Herbert Ritts Jr. (August 13, 1952 December 26, 2002) was a fashion photographer known for his photographs of celebrities, models, and cultural figures throughout the 1980s and 1990s. His work concentrated on black and white photography and portraits. He photographed Brooke Shields for the cover of the October 12, 1981 edition of Elle and he photographed Olivia Newton-John for her Physical album in 1981. During the 1980s and 1990s, Ritts photographed celebrities in various locales. He took fashion and nude photographs of models Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington, and Cindy Crawford. Ritts' work with them ushered in the era of the supermodel and was consecrated by his celebrated image, "Stephanie, Cindy, Christy, Tatjana, Naomi, Hollywood, 1989" taken for Rolling Stone. He worked for Interview, Esquire, Mademoiselle, Glamour, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Vogue, Allure, Vanity Fair, and Elle. He published books on photography for various fashion designers. Alfredo James Pacino (born April 25, 1940) is an American actor. Known for his intense performances on stage and screen, Pacino is widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of all time. His career spans more than five decades, during which he has earned many accolades, including an Academy Award, two Tony Awards, and two Primetime Emmy Awards, achieving the Triple Crown of Acting.
