Each contributor prints 1,000 copies of their piece at their own expense and the issue is bound using those contributions. According to the introduction, no piece is refused. (N.B. In this case, "unpublishable" means "eccentric" and not "NSFW.") An interesting publication.

With contributions by Ed Ruscha: a chocolate stain that seems to have been applied a bit messily as well as Hannah Weiner, Dan Graham, Vito Acconci, Bernadette Mayer, Robert Lax, Arakawa, Madeline Gins, Richard Meltzer, Alan Sondheim, etc.
