Melber bleibt jedoch bei der Kritik von Biologismus, Exotismus, Kulturrelativismus und Nationalismus nicht stehen: über die Kritik von Rassismus und Antirassismus zwischen Selbstgerechtigkeit und Selbstverleugnung gelangt er schliesslich zu einem solidarischen Internationalismus und einem Plädoyer für Menschenrechte als Universalismus.
