Zustand: Good. 1970. First Edition. 279 pages. Illustrated jacket over red cloth with gilt titles to spine. Vol II. Includes illustrated plates. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards are slightly bowed. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with small tears and creasing. Jacket is rather rubbed and marked overall.

Archibald Elliot Haswell Miller (1887-1979) was an artist who specialised in the painting of portraits, especially the military portraits for which he is so well known today. in red cloth bindings with original price clipped dustwappers. Externally, very smart with just some slight wear to the extremtieis and bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dustwrappers slightly age toned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean with just the odd spot to the endpapers. Very Good Indeed. book.
