Gordon Anthony was a British photographer, known particularly for his photographs of ballet and theatre in Britain becoming the portrait photographer to the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, Stratford in 1933 with his photographs helping to make the Royal Ballet known across the world in the 1930s. This is a heavy book and may cost more postage overseas.

One of only 100 copies - not only signed by Anthony, but inscribed by Haskell too --- First edition of this lovely book - this copy from the limited edition of 100 copies (No. 42) signed by Gordon Anthony and inscribed "with all good wishes" by his co-author Arnold Haskell, a British dance critic and later director of the Royal Ballet School.
