Observations on quantitative characters viz., days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, plant height, panicle length, productive tillers per plant, number of grains per panicle, 100 grain weight, kernel length, kernel breadth, kernel L/B ratio, grain yield per plant, straw yield per plant and harvest index were recorded from F3 progenies.Generally grain yield per plant was strongly and positively associated with the yield components like panicle length, number of grains per panicle and harvest index in all the four segregating populations.
