Incredible Critique on several pages and Hand-Signed by Frank Elgar whose real name was Roger Lesbats, was a French journalist and art critic born in Blaye, in the Gironde region, France, on July 21, 1899 and died on June 15, 1978 in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. Before becoming the critic of Le Parisien libéré , Frank Elgar had collaborated with the weekly Carrefour . He was also manager of the film magazine L'Objectif. He also published books on Paul Cézanne, Fernand Léger, Pablo Picasso and Vincent van Gogh with Hazan Editions . He was also one of the two editors of the great Dictionary of Painters published by Hazan. [From the personal library of FredeRik Von Nutter] - Frederick Allen Nutter (May 1, 1929 - October 15, 2005), known professionally as Rik Van Nutter, as well as Rik Von Nutter, was an American actor who appeared in many minor films. He was the third actor to play CIA man "Felix Leiter" in the James Bond movie (Thunderball (1965). Repaired with colour like paper to the top and bottom of the spine. It retains a beautifully vibrant colour and has the price of 25s net to the front prelim. Now housed in a plastic sleeve for future protection. States to the front prelim: Compact, definitive, full biography, complete appraisal, distinctive treatment. - Grey cloth with black lettering to the spine and decorative to the front board.
