On "Civil War Round Table" letterhead, Tapp thanks Gates (officer with the New York City Civil War Round Table) "for the card giving information regarding the Civil War Centennial commemorative medal. The idea of issuing such a taken is indeed good; I feel sure it is attractive and a collector's item." Large, bold "Hambleton" in blue ballpoint.
